My guild attempted raiding last night. Timing graveyard runs while working on Sartharion + 3 drakes between Wintergrasp caused server crashes was… interesting. We moved on to Naxx but the lag drove us away before we could even clear the one wing we hoped for.
I had worked out my new talent build in advance (DPS build, DPS/tank hybrid build) but there are a lot of little changes to get use to. I created a macro to combine ghoul summoning and the new player version of ghoul summoning, cause I’m out of action bar space already. I was also able to get rid of my Pestilence/Blood Boil macro. I had it setup around the cool down of Pestilence and to be honest I rarely use Blood Boil these days, so I just replaced it with plain old Pestilence. I love the lack of cool down, for those times I get an unexpected add or just screw up and apply it before both (or any, I admit) diseases are up.
The 40 runic power for Unholy Blight was throwing me off regularly. With the lag in raids I was watching my runic power to tell if the spell actually went off or not, so when I went from 100 to 60 I was constantly thinking, “Is that a delayed Death Coil?” And of course now you can spam Unholy Blight, where before you couldn’t so more wasted runic power until I learn.
My ghoul seemed to be doing better in raids as well, but to be honest I need some normal runs to be sure. With the new AoE avoidance and the option to remove the [Corpse Dust] requirement I’m planning on keeping the ghoul up a lot more than I did before. I’ll be happy if it can live through most boss fights now, let alone being able to survive a full wing of Naxx.
And maybe it is just me cause of a mount addon I use, but the icons for our class flying mount and ground mount have been reversed on my action bar. They work fine, but it is another thing throwing me off every other time I see it.

My ghoul stays up much better in raids. I only had to raise him twice while clearing two wings of Naxx.
